i am surrounded by quiet noise.
a fan, computer, and a gas fireplace.
the television in the next room.
voices that are not loud, but i can still hear them.
children entertaining each other. Usually loud, but not right now.
all buzzing,
all droning,
all of them making a quiet noise that isn't loud.
